Welcome to my Portfolio

RoomService is an employee seat-reservation application deployed on AWS, featuring a Java backend and an Angular frontend. It even uses AI to suggest optimal booking times based on past patterns. This application was made for Forward & Elision. I helped develop the Angular application, design and implement the reservation workflow UI, connect to REST endpoints for CRUD operations, and ensure a smooth, responsive user experience. By finishing this project, I deepened my Angular skills (components, services, routing), improved API integration practices, and enhanced my communication and teamwork skills.

For the course Angular, we built “Olense Feesten” as a team, a festival application with an Angular frontend and .NET backend. Users can explore event schedules, view an interactive venue map, and purchase tickets by submitting their details. I contributed across the full stack: creating Angular components for listings and map integration, crafting .NET API endpoints for data retrieval and ticket processing, and ensuring smooth end-to-end user flows. We handled large datasets for event filtering, integrated an external Deezer API to play artist previews, and delivered a responsive, user-friendly interface that made festival planning effortless.

For the course AI, I made a Deep Learning algorithm by using transfer learning. This model can classify cat types (House cat, Leopard, Cheetah, Lion, and Tiger) based on a picture. During this project, I learned to create a Deep Learning model and train it with labeled images. I also learned to use Data Augmentation techniques and leverage transfer learning to build upon an existing model.

As a team for Requirements Analysis, we analysed a project and made an ERD during the analysis phase. We did this to identify the correct functionalities and ensure we could create a relevant database and working CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functionalities in PHP. During this project, I analysed and described multiple functionalities in Use Case Model notation and created the ERD. I learned how to convert spoken or written requirements into detailed documentation.

For the course Project PHP, we made a web application as a team. This web application was built for the 'Digital Innovation' major at our school. In this application, I created several functionalities, corrected my teammates’ code, and refactored it for efficiency and readability where needed. During the project, I learned to collaborate in a team, build CRUD functionalities, and thoroughly test each function to ensure the application worked as intended.

For the Professional Skills course, I was encouraged to take additional training. I chose to take an extra Kotlin course on Coursera because we did not have a Kotlin class in our curriculum, but I wanted to learn more. During this Coursera Kotlin course, I watched instructional videos, completed exercises to test my understanding, and uploaded my solutions for automatic feedback.
